G20 ministers agree Carolina Principles on emerging technology

G20 ministers meeting in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, issued a consensus innovation statement and agreed the Carolina Principles for Emerging Technologies, which call for investing in research, strengthening commercialisation and enabling trusted adoption. Other outputs included AI Prosperity Objectives and an AI Prosperity Compact.
